.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Penn State is currently
seeking an Administrative Assistant in supporting Penn State
Behrend, a commonwealth campus located in Erie, PA. As a member of
the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, you can play an
integral role in Penn State's future and contribute to one of the
most successful fundraising and alumni relations operations in the
country.The Administrative Assistant supports the administrative
functions of the Development and Alumni Relations team at Penn
State Behrend. This position reports to the Director of
Development, working closely with the Development & Alumni
Relations team as well as other college partners.Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Greet
visitors and provide information; review, respond to, and direct
inquiriesPrepares documents and reports, and compiles
recordsSupport special events with lead coordinator; reserve
spaces, develop itineraries, prepare materials, attend events for
on-site supportCreate and maintain database including updating of
recordsCreate, review, and distribute list requests for internal
and external communicationsProvide support for internal and
external schedulingCoordinate meeting logistics for
buildingMaintain inventory and order office supplies; arrange for
equipment maintenance; process work orders for facilities
needsResolve inquiries and ensure compliance with work unit and/or
University policies and proceduresMay perform non-routine and
confidential administrative duties, and proxy responsibilities as
authorizedMay coordinate work assignments of department/unit
support employees to ensure efficient workflow and processesOversee
student workersArticulate Penn State's needs, ambitions, and
