Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Vice President, General
Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel to the CEO and Board on strategic direction
and risk management
Drive Medicaid/Medicare strategy and oversee compliance with
healthcare regulations
Lead government relations efforts and manage the legal department
and compliance program
Qualifications and Experience:
15+ years of legal experience in the healthcare industry, focusing
on Medicaid/Medicare regulations
Experience with federal agencies (HHS, DOJ, CMS) and in-house legal
roles
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for
government-sponsored health plans
Experience in government relations and navigating legislative
processes
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing legal and
compliance teams
